  • Edwalton are County Champions!

    Sat 09 Nov 2019

On the 9th November 2019, the Edwalton U11 Girls Football Team competed in the county cup representing Rushcliffe. We won each of our 6 games 1 – 0. Our goal scorers were Tehya and Heidi from year 5, and Hana and Captain Eddie from year 6. Eddie suffered a knee injury in only the 3rd match of the day but after some medical attention from both her dad and Miss Russell, she managed to play the last 3 matches, scoring in 2 of them. Our goalkeeper, Lulu, was amazing and our defenders, Kathrine and Chloe, were wonderful in the back and did not concede a goal all day.

We went on to win the whole tournament! Now we are through to represent the whole of Nottingham in the area tournament in March!

    What a great team performance!
