Foundation have been reading ‘The Scarecrow’s’ Wedding’. They have completed lots of challenges related to the story including designing and making their own scarecrows. We think they did an amazing job!

We have been celebrating Chinese New Year! We have been trying Chinese food, making lanterns, masks and dancing to music!
Foundation have been detectives finding out who tried to steal our alpaca! They found footprints, clothing, a ribbon, a mask and a map of our farm. They made WANTED posters, wrote to the ladybird (in case she heard something), labelled evidence and made traps.
Thank you for attending our Diwali morning! We had some lovely creative crafts, delicious food and henna patterns (thanks to Sulayman’s mum).
We have loved playing as vets, looking after poorly animals and making appointments.
Foundation had a fantastic Forest School session; den building, balancing on the tight rope, threading leaves, experiencing the conker run and playing in the mud kitchen.
Saplings have investigated who messed up our classroom, found a real dinosaur egg which we looked after and received a letter from its mummy, Mrs Iguanodon. All inspired by our key text "Dinosaurs in my school".
Oh no! One of our pigs has gone missing this week! Foundation were super investigators! We made maps, trails, safe traps and food for the pig hoping for his return!
Our new Foundation children have had an amazing start at Edwalton! We’ve been busy exploring and making new friends!
