What a fabulous show!
Year 5 ‘visited’ India and now Italy as part of their ‘Where to?’ big question. Our parents have enjoyed our demonstrations of what we have learnt - Italian fashion, cars and even a performance from Pavarotti! Next stop Peru!
As part of our project on Space, Year 5 have been making documentaries.
At the start of this half term, we set the Year 5 children a target of raising £1000 to support the running of the farm. We have been blown away by their commitment and the ideas they have come up with to raise money. It is with a massive amount of pride we can announce that, after the sweet sale yesterday, we have counted up and I can confirm that so far we have raised a massive £1370 -well done children and thank you to everyone that has supported us by contributing to our campaign. You have earned your place on the good list this year!
We have been using persuasive writing to contact companies in our local community to ask them to sponsor our farm animals.
Well done to the three top times tables rockstars from the Year 5 'Battle of the bands' over half term.
An action packed afternoon in the woods! We began with both classes together round the fire and captured some powerful vocabulary to enhance our writing. We ended the afternoon with some trading (and a bit of raiding)between the Angelo Saxons (Maple) and The Vikings (Cedar).
