There are several strands to Music at Edwalton Primary School. Children experience and use Music to develop skills of listening, memory, imagination, discrimination and spontaneity. These skills interrelate with and reinforce other areas of the curriculum.

Young Voices 2020

On 9th January forty-four children, three members of staff and two parent helpers made their way to Sheffield Arena to join the Young Voices choir. The world's biggest choir series hosts a series of events across the country. Sheffield was host to nearly 5,000 children with hundreds of schools participating. With songs ranging from the Wild West, Frightfest all the way through to Queen we belted out songs, which had been rehearsed over the previous 15 weeks. With the winner of The Voice (2018), The Shires and Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet) joining the fun it really was a night to remember.
