On the 9^th November 2019, the Edwalton U11 Girls Football Team competed in the county cup representing Rushcliffe. We won each of our 6 games 1 – 0. Our goal scorers were Tehya and Heidi from year 5, and Hana and Captain Eddie from year 6. Eddie suffered a knee injury in only the 3^rd match of the day but after some medical attention from both her dad and Miss Russell, she managed to play the last 3 matches, scoring in 2 of them. Our goalkeeper, Lulu, was amazing and our defenders, Kathrine and Chloe, were wonderful in the back and did not concede a goal all day.

We went on to win the whole tournament! Now we are through to represent the whole of Nottingham in the area tournament in March!
